It’s tough working in a bubble, on your own, at the best of times, having very few others with whom you can truly bounce off and gain meaningful advice from about your solo business.
In this regard I wish to give a huge big shout out to Elle Ni, who initiated a project called Mastermind, specifically creating a space for people like me.
Elle expertly leads our group of solo entrepreneurs, through a bold and dynamic process of powerful growth and change.
I jumped at the invitation to join the project as I I thought it would be a great opportunity to meet other business owners and gain some insight into my own career limitations and fears. I wanted to share my own expertise and experience with others too if it would be of help. Would this whole process work though?
I had been playing safe and small in my unusual career, staying out of the limelight, that is until our January Mastermind meeting.
Through Elle’s expert razor sharp coaching, I had a huge big ah ha moment. I scared myself with the thought that came at me out of nowhere. I was not sure I could even vocalize it to the others. Elle was having none of that. In fact she helped me to encapsulate its full meaning which I grasped with open arms. The reception to my wild inspired thought by my fellow Mastermind tribe, and subsequent highly motivating and encouraging support from one group member in particular, still has me buzzing and challenged two weeks later. My fellow MM member doesn’t know my trade at all! How extraordinary! I experienced the full power of the group synergy in action, which is proving to be a potent force of nature.
Will it be easy? Is it uncomfortable for me? Oh hell yes but then it’s what I signed up for. I wanted to break through a glass ceiling I had unwittingly put up for myself.
That wasn’t the only button pushed however, as the programme includes every single area of our lives and this is where the real magic happens. It has helped me with managing my fitness, my mental health, spiritual well being, relationships and my finances. Our group has a wealth of knowledge and expertise and it’s all part of creatively crafted package that is raising my whole life to a new level.
I do have the secure knowledge though that I am held in well thought out plan, with a tightly knit, diverse group of people who are having similar ah ha experiences to my own.
My old unhelpful habits are already cracking and Elle has shown us a proven way to help us embed habits we need, in an effortless way.
Already innate shifts in me and my work have taken place, in the most unexpected ways. Surprisingly I am happily embracing them. All I can say is, watch this space. It’s early days in our process and if the last few months are anything to go by, my world will look irrevocably different in a year’s time.
Thank you Elle, for holding such a powerful space of mind blowing transformation, for providing a safe, yet boundless innovative space for us all. Words do not adequately express my gratitude and appreciation for this life changing experience!
